Help,I can’t log-in to gendou.com.I had to turn off the web resident shield just to access my account,but I want the shield to be on.How can I configure it so it would let me access my gendou.com account?

Which firewall do you use?
Is ashWebSv.exe allowed to connect?
Can you browse other sites and make logon in other sites, for instance, gmail?
Which is your avast version and your Windows version?
even here when i on the web shield,it logs me out.

And what happen if you disable the ZA Pro privacy features?
It’s well known that it could mess login and other cookie/script features.
Into the Applications tab of ZA Pro settings must have been an entry for it and it must be allowed to connect, otherwise you won’t even browse at all. It is the WebShield executable.
It isn’t likely to be a problem with the Web Shield, ashWebSv.exe in the avast4 folder.
When avast was installed you should have been asked a Zone Alarm compatibility question.
AVAST Web Shield compatibility dialogue - Install/Update Question - YES or NO
If you are using ZoneAlarm Pro and Privacy Control in ZoneAlarm is set to High and if you click YES in avast compatibility dialogue box the transparent mode proxy in web shield will be turned off you have to manually configure browser to access internet. To manually configure your browser watch instructional video, see below.
If you answered incorrectly, Locate the line containing ZoneAlarmCompatibility= and delete that line (avast will ask again, answer YES) or change the value to =1. Save the edited avast4.ini file.
Use a text editor and edit the avast4.ini file, the default installation location is C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\avast4.ini (I would advise you copy avast4.ini before editing it, just in case).

If you did set the ZoneAlarmCompatibility=1 then the transparent proxy of avast is disabled, so avast’s web shield wouldn’t interfere.
If you then manually set the browser/s to use the proxy, that should give the ability to use the web shield without interfering with ZA Pro’s privacy.
If you additionally disabled the ZA Privacy or lowered it to Medium, that too should mean no conflict, so I’m at a loss as to what is going on.
Although it shouldn’t be necessary try a reboot.
If it is still the same, confirm the ZoneAlarmCompatibility=1 is in you avast4.ini file, if it is, delete the entry and reboot avast should ask about ZA Pro compatibility answer YES.

I need help again,it’s been one day(in our time),it logs me out of gendou and other sites again.
The only thing I can suggest is that you check that the previous actions that you took are still in place.
I can’t understand this inconsistency it shouldn’t just revert back.
It’s weird since it doesn’t log me out even if I use direct connection.I’ll observe and check if it still happens tomorrow.
