Avast Web Shield blocking all sites except Google?

I can’t seem to access all websites except Google when I have my web shield turned on, all show connection failure. But when it’s turned off I can access the sites. Do anyone else experience this problem? It seems to only happen on my new Mac Pro, my old Macbook seems to work just fine and they both run on Yosemite.
