Hi ALL,
After some updates in Avast Web Shield, it started firing alerts on a proxy and public VPN IPs i [/i].
I believe it’s an error. False-positive IP example: 5.188.168.46
Friends, to whom I had previously recommended Avast now facing the same problem.
Could it be fixed?

Thanks for your prompt reply!
The main issue is that Avast erroneously thinks it’s a botnet’s command and control server.
Of course, shared IPs have not perfect reputation, the IP belongs to VPN service, but it’s not a C&C server. It’s a safe IP.
I am experiencing this issue too.
These notifications started for me, out of the blue, within the last couple days.

Looks this has been solved with the update, the notifications have stopped for me.
Update: this I didn’t want that here.
I’m not entirely sure what it is that you are asking/saying ?
Why wouldn’t you/anyone want to update when it fixes a problem ?
Looks like it was fixed with the latest update. Now, Seed4.Me VPN app works as it should be, no Botnet:Blacklist alerts appear so far.
