Avast Web Shield Preventing Uploads on Website

I have been having an issue for the last few weeks, but don’t know exact time frame. I have a legit website that we use at school and upload files to it. I have that website in my Web Shield exclusions, but Web Shield is preventing me from uploading pictures and files to the website. With Web Shield disabled, then it works. With Web Shield enabled, the file upload fails.

I have worked with Avast tech support and they have verified my exclusions should work, but still have issue.

Now that I think about it, maybe this stopped working correctly when we upgraded from 17.2 to 17.4 client, but who knows?

I received an email from Prokop at Avast team that they are releasing a new client soon that has some Web Shield fixes in it, but we won’t know for sure if it fixes my issue until installed, I guess. Not sure ETA.

Hi, regarding ETA, it’s usually released a couple of days after the consumer version (which is still in beta).
