This is been too frustrating avast! web shield make block on the webpages :cry: and it is my 2nd post about this issue.It is really important that avast! make a patch quickly.It is very important component of avast!.

No problem here connecting with firefox 39.0 and avast 10.3.2223, with the web shield installed.

No problem viewing the webpage in IE 11 either.

No problem here , pages load just the same as they ever had.

Ever think that your slow webpage issue might be related to you ISP :wink:

Thanks i repair avast! and reboot the system and load the webpage it seem small improvement on loading.No ISP Problem.I test the net speed and it reached 2mbps.When i tem.disable avast webshield and load website it act normal on google(before perform repair).

Me too. Avast 10.3.2223 web shield module is blocking all webpages.

If it is blocking all pages, the most common cause of that is something blocking avast (firewall, other AV, etc.).

What avast version are you using avast free/Pro/IS/Premium ?
What is your firewall ?
Have (or did) you another Anti-Virus installed in this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ?

It is a serious matter.And avast! developers should look at it,and fix this issue as soon as possible.

How can they fix what those who have responded here canā€™t replicate.

Looking at ā€œBe Secureā€™sā€ signature I donā€™t see anything which would cause a conflict.
Other than Sandboxie and Chrome I have the same set-up including Private Firewall.

@ Be Secure What happens when you visit other sites? Please try several other websites and report back.
Also in Private Firewall (PFW) in the ā€œapplicationsā€ do you have avast set to ā€œallow allā€?
If not highlight each ā€œavastā€ entry>right click>click ā€œallow allā€.

I use free version with comodo firewall. The older version worked fine. I tired without firewall. Without success.
I deleted 10.3.2223 and reinstalled 10.2.2215 version. Webshield works fine again.

If the old version worked, then you need to allow the new version access through your firewall.
You may need to erase the old permission and again have the firewall ask you for permission to allow the new version.

Some users in Russian speaking zone confirmed the web shield problem. It is a conflict between avast and Adguard, there is no internet access while both adguard and avast running.

May I suggest ā€œuBlock originā€. ā€œuBlock originā€ works better than uBlock at least it does in Firefox.

I had the same problem last week. My desktop web browsers couldā€™n access google, youtube and other sites. I thought itā€™s a ISP problem, but while some sites were working flawlessly others didnā€™t at all, for instance performing a download at max. speed (10-15 Mbps) worked well, but i couldnā€™t access the main page from google which has a very simple user interface. At the same time the internet worked well on all sites on my smartphone.
It took me some (unnecessaryly waisted) time to try to find out what the problem is spending hours on searching on the internet and then something crossed my mind. I just updated by accident my avast free to 10.3.2223 version and the problem dissapeared.
I donā€™t know anymore what my previous software and virus definition were.
