"avast! WebRep has crashed" - happening constantly

I see one other thread with a similar problem reported, but things devolved in it, and no addressing of the actual issue was done.

Here’s the scenario: starting very recently, I have started receiving the popup window stating, “avast! WebRep has crashed. Click this balloon to reload the extension.”, when running Chrome. There is no single web page that I have loaded that causes this to happen, but it happens very frequently, and only started happening within the past coupe of weeks.

I could disable the extension entirely, but that is counter productive. I have done some searching and research, but so far nobody has had any decent leads on what the cause of this issue might be.

It also helped my problem… had for weeks no idea why this happened. Just had to delete it and re-install it like in the video.
