Having the issue with “avast! WebRep has crashed. Click this balloon to reload the extension.”

Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and avast! Internet Security (paid version), both with all updates.
Using Chrome Version 23.0.1271.95 m as browser.
The error occurs generally, not some specific site.

Have tried the repair option of avast and then it worked until I rebooted, after reboot same issue again.

I have had the same problem for about 2 weeks. Windows Vista and Avast free.
Why?

I am also having the same problem. I’m using Windows 7 Pro 64bit & Google Chrome. WebRep has been crashing for around three weeks now.
