Yesterday I updated Firefox to 13.0 and webrep continued working as normal, but today when I got on every site have gray bars, even Wikipedia and Ebay etc.
I use Firefox, now Firefox 13, and Avast! WebRep doesn’t work from time to time, too. The problem is often solved with a reboot.
Avast! WebRep is now grey for all websites in Firefox. However, it is now working normally in Internet Explorer 8.
Thank you.
Well my images of it working for me (Reply #1 above) is from my default browser, firefox 13.0. So I can’t understand why it wouldn’t work for you in FF13
for me it is only working “partially” in IE9. i am getting the green icon on my home page, nowhere else. no icons of any kind when i search using Bing or Google. webrep is not working at all on Firefox 13.01. hasn’t been working all evening. i am using 7.0 1443 beta after a clean install. is this a problem with the Avast beta? i have had the same problem today using the release version avast 7.0.1426, which is why i decided to give the beta a try. no luck with Webrep so far. are the servers down?
You are right, in this moment webrep is working on chrome 19. The problem is that avast plugin often stops working. At one our it works, then stops working again. Avast plugin is very unstable on chrome. This situation continues since about 3 months ago.
The last days it’s also quite unstable on the other browsers, guess it’s a server issue…
I’ve deactivated it for now, as it slows FF with it’s permanent connection attempts.
yes, in this days webrep is unstable also on IE and firefox…unfortunately on chrome this issue exists since version 17. Avast plugin seems to be incompatible with the new versions of chrome
