avast webshield & firefox 5 doesn't detect (eicar SSL enabled protocol https)

hi

i’m using avast 6 last version
and @ http://eicar.org/85-0-Download.html
with firefox if i click on eicar.com (Download area using the secure, SSL enabled protocol https), the webshield doesn’t work/block the test file , and avast let firefox download it and after block it

but with internet explorer 9 ,(i guess it’s the last internet explorer) if i click eicar.com (Download area using the secure, SSL enabled protocol https) the file shield block it as soon as i click on it

is a bug?

yes, SSL webshield scanning is not currently supported, lukor should implement it in avast7; all those two eicars should be scanned by webshield firstly (filesystem scans it when it’s already stored on hard drive; it’s usually scanned later when you’re going to execute it - and then it’s blocked). On-write scan is turned off by default, because it’s not so necessary.
