Avast will not automatically update

:frowning: I have no idea why but my avast premium security will not automatically update. How can I fix it?

Repair Avast:

  1. Avast GUI → Settings → Troubleshooting
  2. Click on ‘REPAIR APP’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

I am technologically challenged…what is an Avast GUI?

GUI = Graphical User Interface - also known as - UI = User Interface

So open the Avast User Interface > Menu > Settings > General > Troubleshooting.
