Avast will not open/regardless of fix

Good day all,

I have been using avast now for just over a week with no issue, However today I tried to open the program multiple times to no avail. Everytime I click on either the short cut or menu item it fails to open. No error msg…nothing The computer just thinks for a split second then nothing. I tried the repair function and unsure what is wrong.

Any Help Greatly appreciated !!!

If Repair doesn’t fix the problem, try the following:
