Avast does find a file that it rates as severe. But when Iclick to send it to the chest, Apply becomes greyed out and nothing happens. I have tried repeatedly to have Avast get rid of the file identified. Any suggestions? Here is the file: C:System Volume Information_restore{1cf84759-BCEB-4EE4-A43C-826F5E83A9D0}\RP1582\A0177228.exe.
The file is from Windows System Restore. Windows blocks its moving.
Delete your old system restore points (disable/enable system restore).
Or run avast at boot time
