Avast window says not registered,this is avast 6
tried register now button but nothing happens
Tried installing code from email ,copy and pasted,
but says not valid license key
but if i can post here am i registered?

If you can post here means that you’re registered to Avast forum not to you’re Avast Antivirus. It’s different.
THE PROBLEM WAS REGISTER BUTTON OPENED A WINDOW
FOR INSTALLING GOOGLE CHROME EULA WHICH I DID
NOT WANT SO I DID NOT CLIK ON IT.
WHEN I CLIKED ON IT IT TOOK ME REGISTRATION.
I dont know if it installed google chrome.
I registered there.
Said I was registered but havent received email yet
with license key,
but its only 5 minutes later.
I expect it will show up in 24 hours.

If you followed the on-line registration info in the link Asyn gave ?
If so, then you shouldn’t need a registration email it is all done within the avastUI (user interface) and the avastUI, Maintenance, Registration information should have been updated directly.
It registered after it installed google chrome browser
which i didnt want.
but ican uninstall it.

matter resolved except as to the unwnted google chrome browser.
You most certainly ‘don’t have to install’ chrome to be able to register avast. You just decline it as part of the installation process.
Nothing stopping you uninstalling chrome, it should be a stand alone browser.
