I am using Avast free antivirus a couple of years and it is very efficient.
I wonder if i can use at the same time Windows defender.
Is that recommended or not?
My pc runs Windows 10 Home, x64.

No, you can’t.
If a av is installed, Windows will disable Defender.

This is my setting for Windows Defender. As you can see, Avast is in control and Defender is set to a
back burner state.
