message come up repeatedly until it times out
internet is working fine
firewalls are turned off
no other av except propriety windows installed anywhere
i have DLd and installed the Avast Int Sec fine but it won’t accept my key.
The red around the box disappears to show it is a valid key but then avast can not access the internet.
“process can not … try again later (-1)”
Have turned of the only microsoft firewall operating in the interim and still no access.
Even when clicking on SOLVE ALL button when avast opens it cant connect to the internet. It looks like avast can’t connect to the internet at all for some reason looking at this post as a whole.
If you received an email with your license.avastlic attached, save that to your hard drive and double click it, that should enter it into the installation.
You could also try the Resend avast License https://www.avast.com/resend-license-paid.php, you will need to enter the email that you used when purchasing the license, e.g. the one that the original email with the link was sent.
however i now am being told that digital river is my supplier and avast doesn’t have a record of my payment.
I can’t ask avast for the file you said i need.
As far as I’m aware the resend license is separate from the payment handler.
I use avast free so I’m not really familiar with the payment process - but that link I gave you just asks for the email address. What happens when you enter that ?
It doesn’t matter who handled the payment (DRI or Nexway).
Entering the email address that was used to register avast on the “resend page” will send the license file to the user.
P.S.
This has nothing to do with the topic of this forum, it is not about the https://my.avast.com website
