Avast refuses to open
tried a repair that seemed to work then avast wanted to reboot now same error
help please
Which version of Avast ??? Downloaded from where ??? Which version of Windows ???
What other security software is installed ??? What was your previous AV and how was it removed ???
always run Avast no other apart from malware bytes
win 7
Dont know the avast version I believe Pro with latest updates
ok got it to open in safe mode with networking
cannot turn on any of the shields
says subscription is active
version 10.4.223
Since a repair didn’t work, next would be a clean install.
