I just downloaded and installed Avast Home edition 4.6 to replace NAV2003 and the resident protection screen apparently recognizes instant mesenging clients MSN, ICQ & Trillian, on my computer but not AOL IM. (I have version 5.1)
Anyone else experience this?
Me too, i have MSN and AIM, but it only recognizes MSN, and i dont know why ICQ and Trillian are listed since i dont have them.

I looked at mine - with Less Detail it only lists the three mentioned by the previous poster. However, if you click Details… and then Instant Messaging -Customize, you can see a whole list of IM programs, including AIM.
I assume it is just part of the Less Detail… I would like to know for sure, as AIM is used on a computer I have Avast on…
