Hi,
I have a problem. Avast free antivirus (the newest version) wrongfully detects spyware in an exe file of a game patch. The thing is, that if I only touch the file avast immediately detects spyware and automatically moves the file to quarantene. I’m sure the file is safe. What can I do (where and what should I change in avast settings) to make avast leave the file alone once and for all?
Thanx in advance for any help.
How?
exactly…how ?

So all the websites say it is infected. This file is a part of a patch I downloaded from Here:

I had it with FIFA 08 about 3 years ago (older version of avast didn’t detect anything) and everything in the game and in the system as well worked fine (at least that’s what I thought). So where is the problem now? I also asked about it in the topic I linked above but noone except me claimed this kind of problem. So this means that all the people there and on the web who say this patch is great, works fine ect. don’t use any antivirus and all they have infected file in their systems not knowing about it? Weird…
