Build 4.8.1536 does not co-exist with ZA Free 8.0.298.000. Build 4.8.1335 is working correctly, with current VPS database.

What exactly is the problem you are having with Avast and ZoneAlarm? Please provide some more details.

I am running Avast Pro 4.8.1356 and ZoneAlarm Pro 9.0.114.000 without any major issues on an IBM T43 with 1.86GHz and 1GB RAM. I also run MBAM as resident.

My setup is as follows:

  • Window$ XP Pro SP3
  • Avast Pro 4.8.1356
  • ZoneAlarm Pro 9.0.114.000
  • MBAM 1.41 (resident protection module enabled)
  • Firefox 3.5.3
  • NoScript 1.9.9.07
  • Adblock Plus 1.1.1
  • Dr. Web anti-virus link checker 1.0.20
  • Finjan secure browsing 1.314

If you could provide some more information, perhaps we can narrow down your problem.
