I purchased Avast for 10 devices. I have it on my pc and I downloaded it on my IPAD now I need to activate it (I think) on my IPAD so I selected "Already Purchased? and got a message to enter subscription I assumed that meant my activation code which I entered once without the dashes and twice with the dashes. I got the message “That didn’t work” What gives here?

You seem to only have purchased an Avast Cleanup Premium subscription and not Avast Premium Security. Hence, you cannot activate it. If you made a mistake with your purchase, please contact Avast sales via https://support.avast.com/en-us/contact/sales_other_general
