avast4 pro

i set up avast4 in resident shield to REPAIR IF FAILED DELETE PERMANTLY

i clicked on a eicar test virus , avast4 residend shield blocked the possibilty to run eicar.com
it doesn’t repair(i know why) BUT I DOESN’T DELETE (is this that can’t understand!)

i tested the on -demand scanner and it doesn’t repair and DOESN’T delete!!!

is this that i can’t understand
why does not avast delete?

on session :error occured file repair

did you use the eicar.com or an eicar-archive ?

Hi mantra. I found the same behavior. Sometimes, avast just delete the file extracted from eicar archives, not the zip file itselt.
avast does not delete my eicar.com file too…
I´m waiting for the avast team answer… ;D

“IF FAILED” statement contains bug - it stops processing without performing other actions. It has been fixed and will be available with next program update (announced on 8th of September).
