Please reply urgently. I downloaded a small freeware app called Quick Menu Builder from CNET (virus checked). The app creates an autorun menu for discs and works great, except my one PC with Avast5 reports a virus (junkpoly) on the autorun menu.exe file which the app creates. I need to deliver cd’s with menu to a client, but obviously can’t deliver infected cd’s.
Virustotal (report attached in txt format) shows only Avast5 as picking up the virus. Please check whether it is a false positive.
Hi BrandedWorx, welcome to the forum ![]()
It is much easier to post the link. Most of the text in the attached file is jumbled. Managed to get the md5 out of it though ![]()
I would suggest sending the file to avast.
The information on how to do that can be found here:

Thanks SCOTT, I’ll submit the file
RESULT:
OK, I guess false positive confirmed. Submitted the file via the Avast Virus Chest, and a day later after the normal updates the file runs normally and no longer triggers a virus warning. Thanks for the help Forum and Avast guys. ![]()
