Hi, I just d/loaded the new Avast7 pro program for my new computer and it won’t execute the exe file. I have run the latest Malwarebytes scan which found nothing:

I have also run F-Bagle and that didn’t find anything either. Any other suggestions?

Avast adds a certificate to their executables. Right click on the setup.exe file → properties and look for the digital certificate signature. Is it there?

Being a new computer, do you have any pre-installed security tool? Did you uninstall it? Did you remove the remnants with the respective removal utility?

I would suggest download anew.

Are you sure Avast setup is download completely? Whats the size of file?
