I have a question.
I use ZA5Pro & Avast!HE.
How should I set the rights in FW. Have I to give permission to acces the Internet and Server to Avast!E-mailscanner?
I was getting E-mail also after blocking that.
In set-up I did not permit this.
How to go back to that point?
What I have to do now?

I don’t use ZoneAlarm any more, but anything that ZA asks you to give permission to avast!, always give without any doubt…
Yeah, you’ve got those e-mails after blocking, but those e-mails weren’t checked by avast! mail scanner… of course you don’t wanna that to happen again… so, you better give access to avast! mail scanner.

I apreciated your skins for Avast! a lot because I like to change them often.
This is an option that only Avast! as (I think).
I’m using Avast! only from a short while.
Before I was using Antivir-Pe and after that AVG 6free, but I installed Avast! in the notebooks of my sons because it was the only one with automatic updates (not with scheduler as others).
After I got bored of AVG and I start use Avast! myself too and that gave some problems with others security forum members in Italy that don’t like it, but I don’t care and enjoi Avast!.
I use ZA because is the only one is not gave me trooble in my configuration and with the site I need to go in.
Oustpost free and Kerio gave me some trooble.

No problem Baba, glad you are happy with avast! and it’s skins, plus ZoneAlarm. I personally prefer Outpost, It’s much easier on system resources than ZoneAlarm, and also wery effective. Never gave me any single problem.
Of course, we all have our favorites, and that’s ok…

You need to allow only ‘connection to Internet’ not ‘server rights’ for email scanner…
Oh, I forget, you should allow avast.setup to get updates but, again, only connect not server rights
