AvastSvc.exe causing BSOD

For a week or so now Avast is been causing BSOD on my PC. I have latest version of Avast Internet Security (12.1.2272) on Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

The error on BSOD I get shows “ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY”, and mini dump logs are showing that AvastSvc.exe is the cause of the problem. I did the RAM check and modules are OK.

I’ve been using Avast Internet Security for some 4 and a half years now, and this is not the first time I’m having issues with it, for a while there was a problem that AvastSvc.exe would suddenly use 100% of CPU during database updates and PC would become unusable until the update is finished. Back then I fixed that problem by disabling streaming updates I think, but now I don’t see a solution besides moving to another anti virus, because I’m sceptical that this issue will be solved. I can upload dump files if anyone from Avast will look into this.

Let me know where you uploaded the dump, thanks! (or send me minidump: kurtin@avast.com)

I emailed the minidump files to you, only 7 though since I often don’t wait for them to reach 100& when creating them before restarting PC. Thank you.
