Avastsvc.exe taking close to 100% CPU

Hello,

Since a few weeks i have the problem that some days my PC starts going really slow, websites stop loading and my CPU is going crazy.
When i look in my taskmanager i can see that the Avastsvc is taking close to 100% CPU and thus slowing down my PC.
I reïnstalled Avast but the problem keeps coming back. Is there anything i can do to stop this?

Try removing the NG component and see if that helps, you could also give the new RC ( release candidate ) a try as many performance improvements have been made.
