AvastSvc took over SQL Server port

Uh… AvastSvc.exe took over SQL Server port 1433.

What I did: Disabled then Enabled all the shields.

Which came first in your actions: (Sorry, which preceded which is not clear.)

Did you reboot system after re-enabling avast shields?

Ah… Now I am getting this:

  1. Log into Windows
  2. Turn ON SQL Server (Error: AvastSvc is using port 1433)
  3. Disable all shields
  4. Enable all shields (Error: Web Shield is OFF)
  5. Uninstall Web Shield
  6. Install Web Shield
  7. Reboot Windows (Error: Web Shield remains OFF)
  8. Repair AvastFree
  9. Reboot Windows (Profit!)
