I got this pop up from Avast today saying “The exception unknown software exception (0xc000070a) occurred in the application at location 0x7711ca6d.” What is this and what do I do about it? I am running Windows 7 Home Premium and have a 64-bit operating system if this helps any.

What exact version of avast ?
Any other security (related) software installed ? (or did you have)
Already performed a repair of avast ?
Windows 7 Home Premium service pack 1 and the laptop that is having this problem is a HP with a Pentium(R) Duel-Core CPU T4500 @2.30GHz and is a 64-bit Operating System (if that is even what you asked for) I can’t even open Avast to see what version I have. The other security systems I have are malwarebytes and Kaspersky but Kaspersky is just on my computer but not doing anything. Sorry if this isn’t what you asked for I’m not exactly computer smart.
You will first have to make a choice what you want to use, Kaspersky or avast.
Delete the one you don’t want completely.
Not just through control panel, but also use the uninstall tool.
