avastui.exe - Entry Point Not Found

Just updated my Avast yesterday and now I am seeing this error when I try to open the interface:

The procedure entry point
?PreCreateWithMsgLoop@SysTrayIcon@systray@common_ui@asw@
@QAE_NPBUS_InitDescriptor@234@HAA_N@Z could not be located in
the dynamiclink library CommonUI.dll.

Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

What OS/SP ?
Already performed a repair ?
Already performed a clean installation ?
etc.

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
