Hi. Today I scanned AvastUI.exe with virus total. When VirusTotal was done analysing AvastUI.exe , the detection ratio was 1 / 42. Results:

I know ByteHero is wrong. AvastUI.exe isn’t a “Trojan.Exception.gen”. How in the world is AvastUI.exe a Trojan.Exception.gen?

You have already answered yourself in saying you know bytehero is wrong, obviously its a false positive :slight_smile:

Why did you feel the need to scan AvastUI.exe in the first place ???

AVs always flag each other as “infectious”…some people claim it is solely for marketing purposes, but it really has a lot to do with how an anti-virus behaves.

I don’t know why I scanned. I was just bored at the moment.

Why don’t you update to Google Chrome 18?
