AvastUI.exe will not uninstall or close

I have a win 7
avast wont fully uninstall
I decided to buy avast for another computer but first I have to uninstall it on my current cpu since the trial expired.
The things that stayed are programs files and the avast circle near the clock is still there, AvastUI.exe even refuses to close when I open windows task manager.
Ive even tried programs to full uninstall even the left over file etc, no dice

System: Windows 7
Avast version: 7.0.1474

If you simply insert the new license (e.g. by doubleclicking it), wouldn’t the program “fix itself”, turning from the expired state into a fully functional?

right now its taking up too much space on my current hd and up
