I don’t like the results from Avast because there are too many % that is user depent. I think Avira and Eset are making a big progress in there protection at this moment.
I do not really worry about the result, but what bothers me is the 3.1% that
is left to the user. :-\
Unfortunately there is no explanation of what these user settings/decisions are. For instance PUPs Potentially unwanted programs, is one such user setting/decision.
I’d say it’s probably the AutoSandbox offer.
Yes that is certainly one, as it is set to Ask.
However, as the PUPs issue is off by default in the FSS, Sensitivity and also in the on-demand scans. Unless the User elects to scan for PUPS they could be run and only then would the autosandbox ‘possibly’ kick in.
