Hi,

I have been testing AVG Free version 19.2.3079 build 19.2.41860 and i’ve found the following issues:

S.O. windows 7x64 Home Premium (SP1)
Intel Celeron E3200 @ 2.40 GHz
RAM 4 GB (3.75 usable)
Nvidia GeForce 7100 / nForce 630i (driver version 258.96)

It caused Event 36888 Schannel

  • 36888 0 2 0 0 0x8000000000000000 378279 System User-PC
  • 10 10

Internal error is 10

It seems to me that it happens at opening the AVG GUI

After uninstalling:

-it caused issues in system restore, Event 8210, 0xc000034
-it caused event 465 ESENT:

  • 465 2 3 0x80000000000000 80456 Application Usre-PC
  • taskhost 1736 WebCacheLocal: C:\Users\Carlos\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache\V01.log END 79 (0x0000004F)

-It leaves folders in different locations, including the C:\Program Files\Common Files\avg software\overseer

Uninstalled via control panel/programs. Maybe I had to use the AVG uninstalling tool.

I tried to register in the AVG Forum unsuccessfully. When I tried it was redirected to the Spanish web where only is available “AvG MY Account”, which does not allow to publish a post. So, the only way I had to inform to the avast team of the issues was here.

NP, do as you like - still it would make sense to test the latest beta. :wink:
