The fact is! there are hundreds of fraudulent licenses on EBay, and strangely enough there are many also selling free licenses :

I would go as far to say avoid eBay and heed the “if it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.”

Avast has authorised resellers and whilst they could sell using eBay, any discount they get from avast (and still make it worth their while) wouldn’t mean ridiculous prices.

Another point any license over three years is 100% dodgy as avast don’t issue licenses for longer than three years.

All that can be done is to report them to Ebay, Ebay will then send them a message about the content and it’s up to the seller to respond or remove the item and most of the time sellers just ignore the message and Ebay don’t bother following up the issue.

I’d avoid Ebay and to buy a license from our website or a legitimate reseller
