Avst website shows Ultimate allowed 10 devices on compare, then 1 PC in detail

On the Avast Home page

Website navigation: Home ==> View all PC products

On User type selection page,

Select ==> For Consumer

Scroll down and select ===> Compare all antivirus products

On the product comparison page,

Notice under Ultimate column ===> Install on all your devices ===> Shows Ultimate will install up to 10 devices. Under that Ultimate “Learn More” title at the top of compare column, says 1 PC.

Price of Multi machine install will determine my buying decision. So, which is it? 10 devices for $99 or 1PC? Avast presentation seems, at a minimum, confusing. In a different venue, the term I would use is deceptive. If Multi machine capability is pitched against the Ultimate column, then pricing should be shown separately and clearly differentiated from 1 PC price.

I think we need to be clear.
Avast Ultimate for 1PC or 10 devices?

Hi guys,

The Avast Ultimate bundle is currently only available for 1 PC as stated on the Avast Ultimate product page, and as displayed if you tried to purchase the subscription. The Antivirus comparison graphic indicating it could be installed on up to 10 devices was erroneous and has now been corrected. We are sorry for any confusion this mistake may have caused.

And it’s the same for “Avast Ultimate Multi”? 1 PC?

Avast Ultimate Multi is (despite the name) a completely separate licensing bundle from Avast Ultimate that is only available for purchase via Google Play.

The Ultimate Multi bundle covers the following:

  • Avast Mobile Security Pro and Avast Cleanup Pro features, each for up to 5 Android devices.
  • VPN feature within Avast Mobile Security for Android, or Avast SecureLine VPN for Android, iOS, Windows and Mac, together for up 5 devices or PCs simultaneously.
  • Avast Premier and Avast Cleanup Premium, each for 1 Windows PC.
  • Avast Security Pro and Avast Cleanup Pro, each for 1 Mac.

Our product teams are considering a Multidevice version of Avast Ultimate that will function in the same way as Premium Security Multidevice (coverage for up to 10 devices), but this is not something that is currently available.

Okey, thanks for the information

Thank you!
