So after starting to use Noscript few months back, since then I’ve encountered the same subdomain mentioned in the title. I’ve done some research and noticed how this domain seems to have been aroun the internet for few years already, and it seems to have bad reputation around the web for possible malware infections. I don’t remember on what pages I’ve personally encountered it, but some of them have been offical finnish websites for newspapers or tv channels (e.g. “nyt.fi”). I personally have kept this domain blocked on my Firefox, thugh sometimes when I’ve allowed all scripts for (trustworthy) websites (e.g. the said nyt.fi) when I’ve accidentally blocked a script that prevents websites from working correctly, menaing that -b.scorecardresearch.com has sometimes been whitelisted in my browser for a short peroids of time. :-\ But I’m not sure if this would be something being blocked by Adblock Plus or other adblockers. Could anyone give me a little further info about this?
Well, haven’t we been there before, see this thread: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=101755.15
anvisoft phishing could be part of it. See the latest on the WOT report: https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/b.scorecardresearch.com?utm_source=addon&utm_content=popup
Read this discussion on their forums as well: https://www.mywot.com/en/forum/10966-privacy-tracker-domains
Script blocking is a good remedy against such privacy-trackers.
