My Gateway is back online. It always worked great with avast!.
It’s my HP that BSOD’s with avast!.
Both are Windows 7 64bit.
I have no choice but to use avast! on my Gateway
and AVG on my HP.
It’s ok with me 'cause I like to use 64bit software (AVG).
If you use A V G you sacrifice protection. But it’s your machine.
avast works fine on my Win7x64.
+1 AVG will steal all your pirate treasure no matter where you’ve hidden you’re gold on any island
And you should know better Avast is by far to good against the dumb and crappy AVG.

I do use avast! on one computer, but I can’t use it on the other 'cause of the BSOD’s.
So, which a/v do you recommend for my HP??? Avira with it’s nag screen???
Speedy would make a good Christmas dinner for Garfield.

I have run across others that get BSOD when they try to install avast!.
A guy that seems to be the biggest fan of Avira can’t install it for the BSOD’s.
I can run Avira with no problem, I can’t stand it’s nag screen.
Avast! is the only a/v I can’t run on my HP, AFAIk.
AFAIK, my Gateway will run any thing.
Computers can be almost as confusing as women. : ;D
Then don’t get married it will be far more confusing in the long run ;D
