Bad Pool Header 19 Blue Screen aswSP.sys+b92f

I’ve had a few seperate endpoint machines, Windows 7x64, which recently, within the last few days, have had a same “19 Bad pool header” blue screen code, with the same memory address pointing to avast (MiniDump Data below)

Uninstalling avast from safe mode, then reinstalling seems to fix the problem.

Is there a known issue or version of avast with this problem?

Yep - same problem here on multiple computers. Just started in the last couple of weeks. Uninstall / reinstall worked to fix this. Still, no news from Avast. Also Windows 7x64 computers only.

From AVAST Software: "Our investigation has pointed to a problem with an older EPS version, 8.0.1603. So far we are unable to replicate the problem on the latest 8.0.1609.

Please check which version customers are running, and update if possible. The root cause is still unknown, but we are suspecting the MS patches on Tuesday, still under investigation."
