I was one who initially had problems when A7 automatically found its way onto my PC.
I was aware (in advance) that Avast were recommending the removal of v6 before the installation of v7 - so was very surprised that this update had gone ahead ‘without my permission’.
There were problems at first, (the sandbox would not fully function) so a complete removal was done, including all registry entries, and a fresh install then carried out.
This did the trick, and since, no problems whatsoever
I can only suggest that all those with ‘problems’ do the same. It takes so little time - and works!
