Im getting a warning saying virus has been detected…
this is where it says it is…

it won’t let me do anything with it…tried to rename, delete, move to chest etc…it does it when nothing is open & when i’m surfing…any ideas as to what to do about it?? ???
Why won’t it let you, what errors are displayed, e.g. file in use, etc. ?
If you have XP, vista32bit or Win2k, you could enable a boot time scan. Right click the avast icon, select Start avast! Antivirus, a memory scan will take place followed by the opening of the Simple User Interface, Menu, ‘Schedule boot-time scan…’ Or see http://www.digitalred.com/avast-boot-time.php.
will try the scan…when I hit move to chest it comes up over & over …when I hit anything else it says unable to process…will get back after scan & let you know if that helped. Thanks for the quick reply!! ;D
