Behavior Shield is turned off nearly every time I start Windows

Hi,

Almost every time I start up Windows, I see a warning from Avast indicating Behavior Shield is turned Off, even though it was On previously and I hadn’t turned it Off. No matter how many times I turn Behavior Shield ON, it will nearly always be Off again the next time I start Windows. It doesn’t seem to be properly saving the setting correctly…most of the time. There’s maybe a 10% - 20% chance that Behavior Shield will be on (correctly) when starting Windows, but I haven’t found any particular reason why sometimes it’s correct, and usually it’s not.

I noticed this around the time Avast changed over to the newer UI earlier this year, though I can’t say exactly when. I’ve been waiting for it to go away on its own, but to no avail.

Thank you! I searched for “behavior” rather than “behaviour”, so I didn’t see that thread.

You’re welcome.
