Behavior Shield it never starts on its own!

Dear Avast!

Now every single day this spectacle welcome:
(see the uploaded screenshot file)

This is normal???

I’m just asking, what kind of anti-virus is it that has to be constantly manually armed to the maximum, because it is incapable of doing so on its own? :-X

Anyway, does anyone else have or have you had such a problem?

Infos:

Avast Free Antivirus 21.2.2455 (build 21.2.6096.651), version of virus definitions: 210426-4, user interface version: 1.0.612
Windows 10 Pro 2004, 64 bit, operating system build number: 19041.928, Quality: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

Thanks in advance for everything!

Regards, convar

Hi convar,

please try to upgrade to the AV 21.3 version. We did some enhancements related to this issue.

Thanks,
PDI

After a few days, I can now say with certainty that the measure did not solve the problem.

What’s more, it once happened that Ransomware Shield didn’t want to start either! (see the uploaded screenshot file

)

(But anyway, I don’t understand why version updates have to be forced manually now, so far this has been automatic too…)

This may not have a bearing, but your Operating System should also be updated.

What do you mean it needs to be updated?

Windows Update is turned on and everything is enabled to it. Nothing has been disabled or changed.

That’s the current version of Windows 10.

Already to whom. We know that not everyone’s computer receives the latest version of Windows at the same time.

But anyway, it would be absurd if I really had the problem that my Windows is still the 2004 version. And what if I still used Windows 8.1??? Avast should even be compatible with that operating system too, right? (let alone with a Windows 10 2004)

So any more ideas? Even from someone else. PDI?

Running a manual Windows update check should bring up the latest build - Windows 10 20H2

@convar, be careful with Win10 20H2 Update. There are still some blocks on 20H2 being presented to some machines by MS, especially if you have Connexant HD Audio. I had a lot of fun and games (was not fun) when I came to update to Win10 20H2.
