Behavior Shield scans nothing

I installed Avast 5.1 yesterday. All modules are working, except the Behavior Shield, which reports 0/0 events analised/blocked.

What’s wrong? How can I fix it?

Are you using a 32bit or 64bit system?

Mine is working perfectly fine: 62/0

Please check the registry key

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\aswSP\Parameters

Is there an entry called BehavShield, and if so, what is its value?

I’m using Windows 7 x64.

There is a BehavShield, the value is 1.

…which is the correct value. In this case, it’s a bit hard to tell what the problem is. If you look at the shield’s statistics, has it ever scanned anything at all?

I don´t know why, but after I installed adobe flash player (to view the statistics in Avast), the Behavior Shield started working… or at least its activity started to be counted.
