i noticed that there is no Behavior shield in version 9.0.2006
how is can it protect from registry changes like start up or other malicious changes in registry
i don’t know why you would not have a behavior shield
this layer of protection is needed for today’s threats
thank you

The avast shields are now broken down into areas, so they have been combined into three main areas/shields and the previous shields they have been consolidated into those three shields, File System Shield, Web Shield and Mail Shield.
See:
Avast Shields in avast 9 - some shields are missing - http://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB89#idt_09

i looked under file system shield don’t see any behavior settings
There is no behavior shield, the settings are included in the file shield now.
For extra protection avast now has deepscreen, which is stronger than the old autosandbox.
Check out the in-program help file and here. 8)

Behavior shield is now a part of file shield. They are integrated. There are no seperate settings for behavior shield. File shield settings are what you use now.
