ok i have running on one pc vista business and with it avast free malwarebytes paid now on the behaviour shield expert settings, what should be ticked??? my dad has block ticked and mine said allow and my other computer running xp 3 avast and paid superantispyware says ask… so im a whole lot confused, some light shed would be awesome thank u in advance… Libby ps recently the vista laptop had sum virus slip through b4 i bought malwarebytes so im wondering if it has changed it or something…
What version/s number/s of Avast! are you speaking of?
the lateset version of avast but the free version, its all up to date and new with web rep ???
The behavior shields default settings have changed across different versions, so I thought maybe you had different versions installed on the separate PCs, that would account for the varied settings.
The current default setting (for 6.0.1000) is “auto-decide”. You are of course free to change it how you like, but when in doubt, stick with the default.
