BehaviourShield ignores exclusion list

I’ve added a App to exclusion list. But every time I start that app, Avast blcks it and asks again, if I want to add it to exclusion list.

I’m using Win 7.

EDIT:

Ah yeah, by the way: The same application might have ran a lot of times before this issue first occurs, but subsequent runs fail.(At least for some time. After some time the app is not blockt for some time)

You can report a suspected FP (File/Website) here: https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php

Yeah, buit the problem ist, taht it ignores my exclusion list. I want it to not block programs listed on that exclusion list.

  • Which Avast…? (Free/Premium)
  • Which version/build of Avast…?
  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

Free Avast
20.8.2432 (Build 20.8.5684.604)
Windows 7 Professional 64bit Service Pack 1
No other security related software installed
I did not use any other AVs before Avast.(Not counting Windows Defender, which was probably active before installing Avast)

  1. Download Avast Free Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
  2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

Seems like that fixed the issue, thanks.

You’re welcome.

Now, after a few days, the error occures again.(So possibly it wasn’t really absent)

Update to the latest version (20.9.2437): https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=239611.0

No problems for a longer time => Seems to be fixed. Thanks again.

You’re welcome.
