Being billed again

I had to visit PayPal and cancel all automatic payments, There were EIGHT automatic payments over there, eight!

Finally the billing began to stop taking money. Instead, I get emails: Hmmm. Your payment has failed.

Damn straight. And it will continue to fail, you pirates! I unsubscribed to everything a year ago!

How can I get this to stop? Help agents here at Avast, five of them, assured me they understood and that I would no longer be billed, but they have NO IMPACT and the billing continues. Four or five times a month!
