:(Recently I got a profile of my system done with Belarc Advisor.
While everything seemed ok, I got the profile as per the image attached for virus protection.
Can someone learned in the forum guide me how to get rid of the other avs which were installed earlier.
At times security center prompts that I have NUMBER OF avs INSTALLED and that all of them are out of date but on restart it detects only avast correctly. ???
This is a responsibility of the uninstaller of those AV’s. AFAIK this info cannot be (easily) edited.
You might purge the whole WMI repository, but that’s probably not what you want to do.
Thanks
Vlk
I had exactly the same problem with R Firewall, even though completely uninstalled Microsoft Security Center kept informing me I had two firewalls running!
See the attached link, post number 12 by Sir Lanalot, and follow the instructions carefully.

Once re-started your computer will re-build the file with information about your current installed software.
It worked for me
I have that problem with the R-Firewall entry, but the WMI service is not running and the “repository” folder is protected.
EDIT: Found the answer:

Bye bye R-Firewall! ;D
It worked nicely for me too.
