Best Android malware sample for testing purpose

Good morning everyone,
I’m writing here to ask for your help and advice in virus/malware matter.

I’ve developed a small traffic monitoring software on Android environment for a University project and lately I’ve been told to find the “best suitable” android malware sample to test my project with.
I’ve been searching all over the Web but since I’m only recently beginning to enjoy this malware world I have too little experience to make a “this is the best” decision.

The malware should be have some interesting network behavior (i.e. a botnet malware which repeatedly generates IP addresses and tries to call a DNS resolve on them until one of them answers back) and some kind of SMS behavior too (i.e. SMS exchange between C&C server and infected device or just a kind of SMS spamming action after the receiving of C&C spam_begin command).

Does this description ring a bell for you? If you have the name of a malware behaving that way please share it with me, I’ll be very grateful :slight_smile:
