i’m new and i want to know if what is the best compatible free anti-spyware for avast 4.8 home edition?

I’ve used these with avast! Try them and use the one(s) you like and get on with:

Ad-Aware Free
Spybot Search & Destroy
SUPERAntiSpyware Free
a-Squared Free

FWF my friend got a question for you :slight_smile:
do i really need a realtime spyware protection since avast!4.8 now has realtime spyware built-in-was using spyware terminator of late ::slight_smile: ???
or just use that and superantispyware free as scanners now ??? :wink:
a-squared has too many false positives :stuck_out_tongue:

Keep you computer up to date and be careful what you download and you’ll be fine.

Keep Spyware Terminator if you think it’s useful.

It’s your choice really.

now i use the new updated version of avast home 4.8 program

i will try spybot:S&D

fwf can i update my version build of avast to the new one?

now the version build is avast 4.8 home build 1201 and my version build is 1195!

how can i make it the new version build?

do i need an update of the program?

Right click the ‘a’ blue icon and choose Update > Program.
